Naci, creci y estudie en Mexico. tengo 25 trabajando en el Sistema Educativo y 9 anos en Aurora. Mi especialidad es trabajar como para profesional con los ninos de Educacion Especial, tambien soy interprete. En mi tiempo libre disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia, cocinar, pasear por el bosque, leer, escuchar musica y andar en bicicleta.
Soy maestra licenciada en los anos de nacimiento a Kindergarten. Tengo mas de 20 anos ensenado ninos dos idomas! Aqui en Aurora Charter School, tengo casi dos anos de servicio ensenando y siendo entrenadora de alfabetismo. Me encanta trabajar con los maestros, alumnos y papas acerca de este tema importante!

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Minnesota. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelors in Social Work and Minor in Spanish in 2015. I have worked in various positions including: Adoption Social Worker at Children’s Home Society, Case Manager at Thomas Allen Inc, and a Lead Retreat Facilitator at Youth Frontiers. I started my position with Aurora in August of 2020 and I am currently working on my Masters of Social Work through Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota to further my education to better support our communities here in Minneapolis.
Mary has been in education for over 30 years. Her passion is helping teachers to help students learn and love to read. She recieved her Masters in Reading Education from the University of Minnesota, and earned her reading licensure through Hamline University. She has worked in a variety of schools and districts; from Minneapolis Public Schools, to Osseo Public Schools, as well as the Minnesota Department of Education. She joined Aurora in the fall of 2020, to return to her greatest passion of working with teachers of young children.

I recently graduated so this is my first year in education and my first year at Aurora! I have a degree in Spanish Studies and English as a Second Language.
Before coming to Aurora, I was a Special Education Paraprofessional for 15 years. I have been at Aurora since 2017. I started out here as a Special Education Paraprofessional. In 2018 I began to organize the library for Aurora. I received a Certificate in Library and Information Technology from MCTC in 2020. I have been the Library Educational Assistant since 2019.
