By 2025, Aurora Charter School will provide its staff the leadership and professional development to equip Aurora students with the bilingual/biliterate, cultural, and academic skills to embrace the rich diversity of Minneapolis communities and lead for positive change.

Aurora Charter School is a unique dual language program that is designed around the three pillars of dual language education: Bilingualism and Biliteracy, high academic achievement, and socio-cultural competence. We strive to ensure that each child develops strong biliteracy skills, achieves at their highest potential, and develops a socio-cultural competence that helps them develop into noble citizens of our community.
At ACS, we believe our greatest resource is the people who form our team. We aim to hire highly-qualified teachers and support staff who will lead our scholars to success.

Our Benefits
  • Medical and dental insurance is offered to employees who work 30+ hours per week. Based on the health plan selected, the school pays all or the majority of the employee's insurance premium.
  • All employees are offered paid time off for Safe & Sick Time, Personal, and Bereavement.
